One runner for every process
Contributions, rollovers, benefits, pensions, fees and the nightly runs are numbered processes on the same Engine. A new process is a list of steps, not a new program.
Rules from a sealed release
The Engine loads Control's approved release once and scores every member in memory. Every posting names the event and the release that scored it.
Exceptions, never lost
Work it cannot finish goes to Exceptions with its reason and becomes a Task in a team's Work Queue. One bad member never stops the rest of the file.
Checked and measured
Before any work runs, pre-flight checks the release, the database and the products, and the Engine stops taking work until they pass. The job clock shows where each run's time went.
