One design. One book of record.
Córas is a set of browser applications around a single engine. Each does one job well, and none can corrupt another's data.

Nine applications around one engine

Control
Rules, forms, processes and letters. Seals the release the Engine loads.

Registry
Operators' screens over the book of record. Raises work for the Engine.

Model Office
Runs the whole fund end to end to prove every process.

DQS
Tests, repairs and rehearses legacy data into Córas.
Córas Engine
One C# runner for every process. Scores fees and tax from the sealed rules and writes the book of record. Only the Engine posts money.

IMS
Every file and message in, validated and handed to the Engine.

LifeStream
Group life registry for insurers, linked to funds over AS4.

Payment Gateway
Bank statements in, payments out, reconciled to the book.

MessageStream
AS4 with the STN, the ATO, insurers and partners.
One contribution, end to end
Employer
Pays wages and super, and sends the SuperStream contribution file.
MessageStream
Receives the file over AS4, checks signature and duplicates, returns a receipt.
IMS
Validates the file against the SuperStream rules and hands the lines to the Engine.
Payment Gateway
Matches the employer's payment on the bank statement.
Engine
Allocates each member: fee and tax from the sealed rules, units, transactions, journal.
Registry
Shows the new balance and history. Letters can go out the same day.
Clear ownership is what makes it scale
Control
Forms, formulas, correspondence, processes and the sealed release. Not member rows or journals.
Registry
Operator screens, the field guide and the intake of work. Not fee formulas.
Engine
One runner, Evaluate, table writes, park and dead letter. The only place money is scored and posted.
Database
The book of record and the required columns. Not business rules.
